Vicky, thanks so much for your comments. I've always enjoyed having you in class and will miss you too. But am so looking forward to following what you're going to be doing in Ghana. Thank you for taking me there virtually. Never thought of it from the point of view that something I've shared will be going to Ghana with you. Love it! :-)

And my apologies that your comment didn't show up on the blog right away. Isn't this weird, it ended up in my spam catcher? Can't imagine why though.

Polly,

Thanks for blogging my blog! I will miss your classes very much. As you know I was the tech teacher at Lucy Robbins Welles Library in Newington and often battled with/played with new tech on my own. I always signed up for your classes because I knew I was going to get an organized presentation of new tech that I could apply the next day at my library. In classes I felt we were kindred spirits. You loved tech as much as I did. You loved the practical applications of all this tech. And you clearly loved sharing your knowledge with others. When co-workers wanted to go to CLC tech training I told them take Polly's classes. Many things I learned in your classes will go to Ghana with me and your blog is one of a few library tech blog I am following to keep in the loop.So in a way you will go to Ghana and make a global impact with your teaching.
