DIY Workshop Day at SALS

Training day at SALS
They paid me to play with flickr! Can’t beat that!

The Southern Adirondack Library System is sponsoring a series of Library 2.0 workshops for their member libraries. And once a month, they hold a DIY workshop day. Staff can drop in and get some help with their blogs, wikis, flickr, web sites, whatever.

Today we fixed some broken blogs and played with flickr. A good time was had by all!

Dinner Speaker at SALS Annual Meeting

I’ve been asked to speak at the Southern Adirondack Library System’s annual meeting in May. The topic is Libray 2.0: Meeting Community Needs. I’m looking forward to the meeting. The 3 things you’re supposed to remember for an after dinner speech are: be Entertaining, Informative and Brief. It takes a lot of time to prepare a talk that’s brief!
