Student book reviews linked to catalog

In a class last week, Jenny Brown and Silvia Lilly from the Bethlehem HS showed us how they were linking their students’ book reviews to their catalog. They save the reviews on their school server and then link in the 856 field. Pretty nifty simple trick. Try searching for Kite Runner.

Last year I fiddled around with creating some simple Google Gadgets for the catalogs of my local library systems. Mostly to figure out how to create them, but also because I’m lazy. I wanted easy access to all my local library catalogs in one place, on an iGoogle page.
