I’m so looking forward to attending the New York Library Association annual conference this week. A great conference with tons of interesting and useful programs. And I always have fun catching up with all my NYS friends and colleagues. And it’s going to be just down the street from the amazing Niagara Falls. (slowly I turn…..)
This year I’m presenting a session on Cloud Services for the Empire Friends Roundtable. I’ve never presented to this group before and am looking forward to learning more about their perspectives on libraries. Hope we have time for some chattering.
The Friends Roundtable is in the midst of a campaign to become a Section instead of a Roundtable. Sign their petition!
I’m also hoping to see some of the NYS participants in the Hyperlinked Library MOOC. I should have gotten this organized sooner, but there are a few of us who are going to try to meetup. If you’re going to be at NYLA and you’re in the MOOC, let me know. We have a NYS Tribe, do join!
