Top 200 Tools for Learning 2017

Jane Hart’s 2017 list of the Top 200 Tools for Learning was released today. This list was compiled with input from over 2,000 learning professionals from around the world.

The list includes tools for personal & professional Learning, workplace learning, and education. You’ll find all the tools listed by those categories on a separate rankings page.

The overall top 10 include the usual suspects: Twitter, Facebook, Google Docs/Drive, YouTube, etc.  But dig further down the list to find some interesting tools that are new to the list.

Each tool is linked to its own page with a brief description of the tool and in some cases, notes from those who nominated a tool.

And finally, there’s also a directory organized by types of tools that includes over 1000 tools. For example: Search & Research, Presention, Screencasting, Mindmapping, etc.

These lists are a treasure trove and are invaluable when I’m updating our Cool Tools for School online workshop, which is currently at the top of my agenda!
